Today I am feeling like being totally ‘random’ and letting you all in on some ‘not so secret‘ secrets!
11 Random things about me!
1. I can put my entire fist in my mouth (great party trick, not sure if it means I have small hands or a big mouth!)
2. I have three tattoos, a butterfly, a dolphin and a frangipani (I got this one done in Hawaii on our honeymoon)
3. I am a rugby league tragic…..go the Eels!!!
4. I am an aunty to 4 adorable nieces, who I love to the moon and back!
5. My first job was when I was 15, at KFC (it was actually still called Kentucky Fried Chicken back then…..now I am showing my age!)
6. I LOVE all reality TV (no ‘The Shire‘ is not reality TV, it is a ‘dramality’ so it doesn’t count)
7. I did a Mathematics degree at Uni, yes I am a total ‘mathlete‘!
8. New York is the only place I have visited that I feel I could truly live and work there.
9. My first dog was named “puppy” (original huh?)
10. I used to have phobias of needles and vomit; pregnancy, child birth and being a mum got rid of both of those…..now need to work on the fear of SPIDERS!
11. My favourite all time singer is Shannon Noll! I saw him LIVE and got to hug him on my hen’s night……..he smelt good too!
You know you want to……just share one random fact about yourself!
How revealing can you be?

I once coached my highschool rugby league team because they wouldn’t let me play (something about 15 year old girls and boys not being able to share a change room or something rubbish like that) We won every game of the season, till it came to the grand final.
Awesome stuff!
Until I had my daughter, I had never sang in public
I had done plenty in a dark and dingy karaoke bar after a few drinks before I had kids, but now there is no shame in singing Incy Wincy Spider or 5 Little Ducks went out one day, if it is going t make my kids happy or stop a tantrum!
Go the sharks!!
Booooo!
lol
If i wanted to, I could chew my toenails. Lucky I don’t. Rachel x
Back in the day when I was flexible enough I could do that too! A bit gross to think about though!
lol
I could still that too Rachel! Aren’t we gifted lol
I had to re-read your first point…as I read it as you could put your whole fish in your mouth bahaha
Maths? really? I hated Maths…
however, after discovering you via this post on FYBF, I HAVE to follow you. You know why? I’m a diehard eels fan as well!! hehe let’s hope we have a better year next year!
Welcoming you with open arms Cathy!!!
. Let’s hope for a better year new year under Ricky! However we have found a bit of form now, so hoping it is enough to avoid the wooden spoon!
The this photo of me was taken at ANZ stadium in 2009 at the Grand Final, that we lost…..against a team of cheating grubs aka Melbourne Storm
love shanon noll.. hes seems so normal and nice,,
random fact.. absolutely sh#t scared of moths.. which is just ridiculous but I really freak out and scream like a crazy person when one comes near :/
Moths, I don’t have a phobia but I can understand, I remember many years ago when I lived at home we had a plague of bogong moths. They were everywhere! They always seems so dirty!
yuk!
Omg so am I!!! Spiders not a prob even white tips I pick up with a tissue, but I hide under blankets and/or flee from a room to avoid a moth and I don’t care who is there to see it.
Very interesting Jodi. I have one thumb smaller than the other by about 1/2 cm.
You will have to show me next Friday!
I will remember to ask!
LOL
Lovely to find out more about you Jodi. Great photos. I’ve got a butterfly tattoo too
Yes on my ankle. It is small and when I first got it, I didn’t tell my dad. He looked at my ankle and I had just come back from the beach, he said “oh, you have some seaweed on your leg”!
I’d love to hear more about how you got rid of your phobia of vomit – my daughter has that. And random fact about me… fave ice cream is coconut.
I used to do everything in my power to stop myself being sick when I was younger, so scared of vomiting! With morning sickness, there was no choice. Not that I was sick a lot, it was more the dry retching, but I just had to go with the flow. I still don’t like it, but I do not panic like I used to when I thought I would be sick. Plus with kids and vomit, they can’t clean up themselves. Also I have caught a fair few tummy bugs from Miss Z over the past 12 months. My stomach is nowhere near as weak as it used to be, so I can tolerate it much better now!
I am so with you on #8! New York truly is the best city in the world. One random fact? I love to pull apart a piece of plain, fresh bread and then roll it into a little dough ball before I eat it. Most of my family do this, much to my mother’s horror!
I used to do that with bread too when I was younger! Haven’t done it in a while!
lol
A Mathlete???!!! Woah! You’re a brainy act!
x
That photo of you hugging Shannon Noll is totally awesome. Look at that smile planted on his face…naw
You should have seen the smile on my face!
. LOL!
Mathlete – I’m impressed! My brain is otherwise inclined. Something about me…I did ballet for 11 years.
